EMA ROCK BAND PROGRAM

Our Rock Band Program is the perfect opportunity for children and teens (ages 6-16) to take their musical journey to the next level. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already has some experience with an instrument, our program offers a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where they can grow and develop their musicianship. 

How Does it Work?

Through weekly 45-minute band practices, students are placed in age-appropriate groups, where they collaborate with fellow musicians, rehearse song(s) chosen by themselves, and build their own band's identity. This hands-on experience not only helps them improve their instrumental skills but also teaches valuable lessons in teamwork, rhythm, creativity, and stage presence.

Do We Need an Instrument?

We provide all the instruments—guitar (electric & acoustic), drums, ukulele, bass, and vocals—so your child can focus on having fun while learning. Students are also welcome to bring their own instrument! If they’re already proficient in one instrument, they also have the opportunity to try out a second instrument, expanding their musical horizons.

Are There Performances?

Performance is a core part of the program. Every 12 or so weeks, students showcase their hard work at public performances and academy concerts, giving them real-world experience in front of an audience. This is a fantastic way for your child to build confidence and develop important life skills like stage presence, collaboration, and communication.

Unlike solo lessons where students practice independently, our Rock Band Program gives musicians the unique chance to play as part of a team, where each member contributes to the group’s success. This fosters a sense of responsibility, accountability, and accomplishment, all while having a blast with friends who share similar interests.
