Road to Rockstar

EMA's Road to Rockstar program is an exclusive opportunity for students at Easton Music Academy to celebrate their musical growth in a fun and rewarding way! 

Similar to karate belts, students earn colorful wristbands as they achieve milestones in their musical journey. From their very first lesson to advanced accomplishments, each band represents dedication, practice, and progress.

How It Works:
Students earn their White Band at their first lesson and work their way through milestones such as recording songs, teaching a family member, and performing for friends and family. Each milestone unlocks a new band, encouraging consistent practice and exciting challenges. The journey reaches its peak with the prestigious Black and Brown Bands, celebrating long-term dedication and mastery.

White Band: Start Here!
Milestone: Attend your first lesson.
Challenge: Teach a family member or friend how to play a note, beat, or chord.

Yellow Band: 3 Months
Milestone: Consistent participation in lessons for 3 months.
Challenge: Record a short video of yourself playing a song or exercise.

Orange Band: 6 Months
Milestone: 6 months of lessons.
Challenge: Teach a family member or friend a short part of your favorite song.

Green Band: 9 Months
Milestone: 9 months of lessons.
Challenge: Record a video of yourself playing your favorite piece and share it with your family or teacher.

Blue Band: 1 Year
Milestone: 1 year of lessons!
Challenge: Perform for your family or submit a short performance video to the front desk.

Red Band: 1.5 Years
Milestone: 18 months of lessons.
Challenge: Play a duet with a family member, friend, or teacher, and submit a video of the performance.

Purple Band: 2 Years
Milestone: 2 years of lessons.
Challenge: Teach a simple musical skill or song to a friend or family member and record your progress together.

Brown Band: 3 Years
Milestone: 3 years of lessons.
Challenge: Perform a full piece you’re proud of at a recital or record a polished video to showcase your mastery.

Black Band: 4+ Years
Milestone: 4+ years of lessons.
Challenge: Reflect on your musical journey by recording your favorite piece of music and sharing what you’ve learned over the years.
